My story
Putting the soul back into psychology.
I learned to see a whole person, mind, body, and spirit, by doing my own inner work first: training in energy work, breaking the cycles in my own family, and learning to see psychology in more than one dimension.

Arriving
I remember arriving here overflowing with love, knowing I came to learn how consciousness works.
I came from a place of total unity and love, here to be a beacon of hope and compassion.
Forgetting
Then years of pain in my childhood made me forget who I was.
There's a saying that the personality would never sign up for what the soul signs up to learn.
Crossing over
Each time I crossed over, I came back with a deeper understanding, and the same instruction.
During those years I had several near-death experiences, and I came back each time with a stronger resolve to hold the light.
Remembering
I did the inner work, studied the mind, earned my license, and remembered.
My purpose was clear: to break the generational patterns in my family and help guide others home to their authentic spiritual selves.
Teaching
Remember who you are as a child of God, and teach it to others. So that's what I do.
Everyone's soul story
Love and light, moving through darkness.
My story is a big story. But really, it's everyone's soul story, whether it plays out in big ways or small ones.
I also learned to ask a different question. Not “Why is this happening to me?” but “What is the learning here, and how can I use it for my purpose?”
Psyche translates as soul
Where science meets soul.
It took a long time to fully remember. I did years of inner work with skilled specialists, learned every mind, body, and spirit practice I could, and prayed and meditated like my destiny depended on it, because it did.
I spent years earning a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Spiritual Psychology, and I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm also a certified energy healer, massage therapist, and yoga instructor.
I came back from those experiences with intuitive gifts, too. Today I bring the two together: a grounded understanding of the mind, and an open door to the spirit. My clients call it woo-infused alchemy.

Becoming a Zen Mommy
Connection, not perfection.
Before I became a mother, I made vows of parenting perfection. I would always stay calm and present, and I would never repeat the mistakes of the generations before me.
Then real motherhood arrived, with a colicky baby and days I didn't even shower. I learned fast that being a perfectionist and a martyr is a sure path to burnout, and that we can't pour from an empty cup.
During my clinical internship, at a clinic focused on mindful parenting and early childhood, I co-facilitated Mommy and Me groups. I watched how a parent's unresolved patterns flowed to their little ones in triggered moments, and how that changed when the parent came back to the present and reflected on the what, why, and when of the trigger.
One day, journaling about something that was really triggering me, I looked over at my sleeping daughter and saw her mirroring what I was feeling. Our nervous systems are connected to our children. That was the day the Zen Mommy MAP, Mindful Attachment Parenting, was born.
A welcome from Molly Rose
“We are here to remember who we are as souls. In that knowing, so much can change.”
